One year on from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, St Albans City
and District Council is hosting a mass participation sports festival in
Verulamium Park. Free sport and physical activity sessions will take
place throughout the park as well as on the two Olympic Legacy
Facilities, Beach Volleyball and Olympic Adizone. The day will be
accompanied by live music and family entertainment throughout.
Activities include: Water zorbing, Play in the Parks and beach
volleyball, football, tennis and ultimate frisbee, interactive
inflatable’s, face painters and circus skills. Local restaurateurs will
provide food and refreshments throughout the event.
